FAQ
Got a question? Don’t we all? Get some answers!
Hey. Everyone says that I should get into modeling. How do I model for you?
First off, you should probably live in Los Angeles, or be visiting the City of Angels, because that’s where I live… and such. “Second off” (TM pending), you should probably contact me using one of the many convenient Contact Forms at the bottom of most pages. Third, you should probably be open minded and creatively inclined. I thrive on collaboration. Finally, know this: 95% of the models that I shoot are NOT professional. They are just “everyday guys” who love photography and who listened when everyone said that they should get into modeling.
Hey. Why should I subscribe to your Members Only page when there are so many naked boys on the internet for me to ogle free of charge? ...Seriously dude.
I feel ya! And I have asked myself that same question. But it all boils down to two words: SUPPORTING ARTISTS. Yes, there is a shit-ton of nude nakedness and sexy sex shenanigans all over the Interwebs to view for free. Just like there are a gajillion songs and music compositions all over the YouTubes to enjoy for free. And yet, there are those of us who STILL slap down that 99 cents and buy that tune from the singer/musician/band that we like. Why? Because we want to support them. The Artists. PLUS: That little monthly financial gratuity actually serves to elevate the art. It allows for the rental of “that” location or the hiring of “those” models. The creation of art always costs someone something. And that someone is usually the artist. So every little bit helps… Seriously. 🙂
Hey. How come you only accept debit/credit cards? You have something against PayPal or what?
Don’t get me wrong. I love me some PayPal. And while almost everyone has a debit/credit card, not everyone has a PayPal account. Sure, I could “make” subscribers sign up for PayPal (I’m sure PayPal would love me for that). But after much research it just seemed like accepting debit/credit cards, through the secure payment platform Stripe, was the best option… for now. That doesn’t mean that I won’t be adding PayPal as an option in the future.
Hey. So, is it safe to use my debit/credit card?
Ah yes… the question that Laurence Olivier asked Dustin Hoffman over and over in MARATHON MAN (Google it!). “Is it safe?” All purchases are processed through Stripe. “What is Stripe?” Stripe is a global online payment processor that is trusted by thousands of businesses all over the world. “Is Stripe safe?” Yes. Stripe exceeds the most stringent security standards. All transactions are SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protected. Stripe is a PCI Service Provider Level 1 which is the highest grade of payment processing security. All credit card numbers are encrypted and safely stored in Stripe’s state of the art data-center. This ensures both the security and integrity of all information. To learn more about Stripe, visit stripe.com.
Hey. You got anything more than a Members Only page to offer? Prints? Books? Calendars? It's all about marketing dude.
Baby steps. 🙂
