JT Seaton Film & Photography

Welcome to the artistic male photography & films of JT Seaton

About the Photographer

I started photographing the male form about 20 years ago [when I was a film student at California Institute of the Arts]. Back then it was just a fun hobby that I engaged in on occasion. It wasn’t until about 7 years ago that I started taking photography more seriously. While filmmaking is my central journey [horror films are my forte] photography is now receiving the focus and respect [from me] that it deserves. I hope that you enjoy the art.

About The Models

95% of the models that I have shot are not professional. One of the reasons I like shooting with everyday guys [a.k.a. “non-models”] is that many of them do not feel like they are the “model type”. They don’t have the “typical model” muscular physique. And so they may feel slightly self-conscious about their bodies. But once they see the photographs, and see how they look in the eyes of others, it often gives them a new sense of confidence and empowerment.

About The Shoots

1. the action of working with someone to produce or create something.

That’s what I set out to do whenever I work with a model or a client. Collaborate. Brainstorm. Share concepts. One idea leads to another which leads to another which leads to… well, you get the picture.

Let’s create art TOGETHER.
